Settling into my new home studio, with all my instruments and electronic toys within reach, I started the year composing songs in a fresh environment. This album covers the first three months of 2011, including some audio experiments and some extemporaneous creations. "Fingertips" is a valentine to my wife. "New Year's Day" is the soundtrack to a film about taking down our xmas tree. A few others are rocking jams of various flavors, motivated by the ability to be very loud and the recent acquisition of a drum kit. My fire's lit.
